Using a software patch created in PureData, I recorded the flickering pattern that was created as the train I rode traveled through the forests between Milwaukee and Chicago. I took the timing intervals and created an analog video processing system with video feedback loop and external mixer from 1983 to create the red and black tones visible in the artwork.

This piece is intended for projection on three walls. This video is a mockup of how it would appear in the gallery. By using three loosely synced DVD players and projectors the three projection walls will begin to drift in and out of time with one another, creating the flickering patterns seen here.
