Scratch Synth v 1 & 2, IngenuityFest 2011 & 2012

Scratch Synth 1 - four heavily modified radios as sound source, with both high and low pass passive filters feeding all four audio signals into four effects units meant for voice modification before feeding into 8-step sequencers controlled via arduino and Max/MSP.

Scratch Synth 2 - four oscillation devices with erratic behavior set as a sound source, fed into active filters feeding all four audio signals into both fuzz and distortion circuits and then into four, 8-step sequencers controlled via arduino and Max/MSP.

Generative live video synthesizer is projected in the background of images from the Scratch Synth 2 installation, where an audio feed was passed from the synthesizer into the computer where a Jitter patch generated in live-time synthesized images based on a series of audio analysis techniques.
